OwlCappella

OwlCappella is Temple University's first co-ed a cappella group, founded in Fall 2010. The group performs a diverse assortment of musical styles, from pop to jazz to alternative. Some of our most popular songs have included Katy Perry’s “Roar” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Invincible,” both accompanied by music videos available on Youtube. In just seven years, the group has made significant strides. OwlCappella began their 2016-2017 season by recording their fourth EP entitled “fly.” with Liquid 5th Studios on a tour to North Carolina. During December of 2016, the group performed at the White House for the holiday season.

They perform a variety of gigs around Philadelphia and the tri-state area. Previous gigs include performing on Philly’s 97.5 radio station, stopping by at Philadelphia Art Museum’s local artists’ concert, and opening the red carpet at the Philadelphia Auto Show’s Annual Black-tie Event.

OwlCappella enjoys their annual Spooktacular concerts, legendary for Philly’s best costumes, and improv warm ups and jam sessions. Stay tuned on the website and social media platforms for updates on the 2017-2018 season, sure to be the most exciting year yet!
